Exosome_therapeutics

The Exosome Therapeutics research team is developing a novel regenerative medicine based on stem cell-derived nanoparticles called exosomes. Stem cell exosomes are packed with a diverse array of regenerative factors that help regulate the immune system and facilitate wound healing. We isolate, purify, and concentrate these regenerative factors and test them in animal models of disease. Currently, we are investigating the therapeutic application of these regenerative stem cell exosomes for wound healing, diabetic retinopathy, and neurological diseases. In addition, we investigate how cancer cell-derived exosomes facilitate tumor progression and how we can intervene to stop this process to develop new drugs to treat cancer patients.
