Clinical/Research InterestsDr. Mannis, who directs Sierra Regional Eye and Tissue Donor Services, specializes in corneal transplantation and refractive eye surgery. His research has included development of experimental antimicrobial agents and growth factors that affect the corneal wound healing rate, as well as new types of tissue glue. Dr. Mannis has authored over 100 publications and books on topics relating to corneal surgery and disease. |
