Candas receives AACR-Komen scholar-in-training award

Congratulations to Demet Candas! Demet is a postdoctoral scholar in Dr. Jian Jian Li's lab and was awarded the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Susan G. Komen Scholar-in-Training Award and $1500. Ms. Candas will present her research on "Mitochondrial MKP1-mediated radioresistance breast cancer stem cells" at the AACR annual meeting scheduled for April 6-10, 2013 in Washington, DC.
