Dr. Stanley H. Benedict
Stanley H. Benedict joins the Department of Radiation Oncology as the new chief of clinical physics. Dr. Benedict, who received his Ph.D. at UCLA, is especially interested in developing imaging tools to improve radiation therapy, developing technology for image-guided brachytherapy (IGBT), and novel applicator designs that allow patients to be treated with minimal anesthesia.
