High impact journal club
November 16, 2011
The high impact journal club is a forum to review and analyze articles (new as well as classic reports) from selected high impact journals. The articles are chosen according to the current “Disease Month” for the Clinical Radiation Oncology Training Program. Faculty, residents, and fellows participating in the UC Davis Cancer Center Tumor Board corresponding to the current “Disease Month” are also invited to attend. Usually, two to three articles are selected jointly by the Chief Resident and a clinical faculty moderator. Each article is assigned to a particular radiation oncology resident to present. However, all residents are expected to be prepared to discuss each article. UC Davis Cancer Care Network members with connectivity to the Radiation Oncology conference room often participate.
