Clinical/Research Interests

Marijo A. Gillen's clinical interests focus on abdominal and pelvic imaging (including MRI, CT and ultrasound); MRI and CT angiography; genitourinary and gastrointestinal CT and MRI; biopsies; abscess drainages; radiofrequency ablation of tumors; and Thrombin treatment of pseudoneurysms. Gillen is now conducting research studies investigating abdominal MRI for the liver and pancreas; abdominal and pelvic MR and CT angiography; early detection of pancreatic neoplasms with MR and CT; and pelvic MRI (including infertility, stress incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction).
