Clinical/Research Interests

A leading advocate for women's health, Dr. Lindfors works locally and nationally to promote patient and health-care professional education and early detection of breast and cervical cancer. Her research includes breast and cervical cancer screenings for uninsured and underinsured women, and computer simulation of breast cancer screening procedures, benign breast cancer biopsy, cancer prevention self-care, and detection systems for digital mammography.
