Clinical/Research Interests

Dr. Dougherty specializes in imaging of the abdomen with ultrasound, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). He has expertise in high-risk obstetric and vascular ultrasound. He has 10 years of experience in medical education as a residency program director.

Philosophy of Care

Diagnostic imaging has become the “stethoscope” of medicine. Diagnostic radiologists must actively engage in the clinical care of their patients and support a multidisciplinary approach to health care.
