Dr. Salcedo strives to deliver patient centered care from initial presentation, through the perioperative period and on to recovery.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Salcedo is a trauma, acute care surgery and surgical critical care intensivist. He cares for critically injured and ill patients in the trauma bay, the operating room and the intensive care unit. He has a particular clinical interest in the evaluation and management of patients presenting in shock.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Salcedo's research interests include surgical education and outcomes in trauma, acute care surgery and surgical critical care.
