Clinical Interests

Dr. Sampson specializes in open and endovascular treatment of arterial & venous disorders, including diseases of the abdominal and thoracic aorta, renal and mesenteric arteries, aortic arch branch vessels, carotid and vertebral arteries, and the extremity vessels. He is a decorated active duty USAF surgeon with surgical experience in Chile, Korea, England, Kyrgyzstan, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He has research experience and interest in trauma resuscitation, vascular trauma, and simulation in vascular training and education. His clinical interests include vascular trauma, mesenteric vascular disease, and acute aortic syndromes.
