Philosophy of Care
I chose to be an emergency physician and medical toxicologist because of the acuity, spontaneity, and the variety of medical conditions. It gives me the ability and opportunity to care for any patient at any time regardless of their ability to pay. I use the many years of training to provide my patients with the best possible care and I aim to do it with compassion and empathy. Chances are, you did not choose to be in the emergency department. Clinical Interests
Dr. Ford is a specialist in emergency medicine and medical toxicologist offering care for children and adults with various traumatic, medical, and toxicological conditions. He has special clinical interest in envenomations, drug overdose, and addiction treatment.
