Clinical Interests

Dr. Nakra is a pediatric infectious disease specialist who cares for children with acute and chronic infections, in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She has a special clinical interest in antibiotic stewardship in the pediatric population.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Nakra’s academic interests focus on antimicrobial stewardship for pediatric patients, as well as care of immunocompromised children. She is also interested in developing antibiotic treatment guidelines to inform best practices at UC Davis Children’s Hospital.
