Philosophy of Care

Taking care of children, our future, is my priority.  I am dedicated to providing outstanding imaging care to children.   

Clinical Interests

Dr. Gorges's clinical interests center on general pediatric radiology, including plain film, fluoroscopy, ultrasonography, CT and MRI.

She is an expert in the radiographic evaluation of child abuse.  Dr. Gorges concentrates her research activities in pediatric imaging, including dose reduction and appropriate utilization of resources in pediatric CT, and evaluation of the etiology of cerebral edema in pediatric diabetic ketoacidosis.

She also has a strong interest in medical student and resident education, and has published numerous articles and book chapters.
