George A. Kaysen

Clinical Interests

George A. Kaysen is interested in nephrotic syndrome and glomerular diseases, molecular biology of hepatic gene expression, mechanisms regulating glomerular permselectivity, and lipoprotein metabolism. He also is studying the role of inflammation in patients with chronic renal failure (CRF). Kaysen reviews for and serves on the editorial boards of many publications, including the American Journal of Kidney Diseases, American Journal of Nephrology, and Kidney International.
