My goal has always been to provide the best standard of care for my patients. I strongly believe that decision-making in healthcare should be collaboration between the healthcare team and the patient and family. Communication is key In order to make this collaboration work well!

Dr. Venugopal's unique skills and passion lie in imparting optimal medical education to the adult learner. She endeavors to constantly search and continually strive to reshape the role of the clinician educator.

She is a talented lecturer, leader, and respected member of the UC Davis School of Medicine; dedicated to the interrelatedness of teaching, student learning and development, research and scholarship, and applied clinical skills.
