Philosophy of Care

Exercise is medicine. Your body is made to move. No matter who you are, exercise is a vital part of your overall health and wellness.  As a sports medicine physician, I work with high level collegiate and professional athletes as well as adults who simply desire to move pain free.

I respect all my patients and will make a serious commitment to help you achieve your goals and encourage you to push your fitness to its maximum potential, no matter what your limitations might be.   As a public health professional, I also enjoy supporting community events such as running races, biking, and high school sports.

I am a team physician for Sacramento Republic FC, UC Davis intercollegiate athletics, and Davis High School.

I look forward to meeting you, and I know that together we can spread the word that "Exercise is Medicine."
