Collaborative patient care with an emphasis on communication and helping people through difficult times.


Clinical Interests

Dr. Steffner's primary clinical activities include multidiscipline care of bone and soft tissue tumors.  This applies to both benign and malignant conditions in pediatric and adult patients.  Additional interests include high-energy fracture management, revision surgery for fracture, and joint replacement.


Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Steffner's current research interests include decision-making for patients presenting with unplanned excisions of soft tissue sarcomas, diagnostic imaging criteria for pulmonary metastases, and perioperative pain management.
