Philosophy of Care
I selected Family Medicine as my area of specialty to be able to participate in the care of patients across generations, from confirming that positive pregnancy test to easing family members through the end stages of life. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families and sharing their life experiences. I believe that each person is ultimately responsible for his or her own care, and my role is to offer guidance and knowledge.
Maintaining good health requires a commitment and dedication to oneself that is sometimes difficult to achieve. I believe that one of my strengths as a family physician is to assist patients in attaining the highest level of self-care possible. Dr. Mo includes a variety of alternative medical options into her practice, including referrals to local providers of acupuncture, compounded perscriptions, herbs and naturopathy. Her goal is to use multiple modalities, not just prescription medications to assist you in excellent overall health.
Dr. Mo chose family medicine to be able to care for families across generations. In order to maintain good health, people need to believe that they are worth becoming or staying healthy. She likes to help patients become convinced that they are worth the effort.
