Philosophy of Care
I find that internal medicine provides a variety of medical challenges and presents me with the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients. I believe in listening to patients' concerns and giving them medical care options. My patients are partners in the decision-making process. I feel that my practice is distinguished by the fact that patients know I am concerned for their physical and mental well-being. To promote good health, I believe in prevention and in helping patients to understand their disease process. This knowledge enables them to make correct decisions regarding their health. As a primary care physician, I find UC Davis offers me exceptional subspecialty care, which I can make available to patients when needed.
