Philosophy of Care
Dr. Merck's philosophy of care has developed out of a simple ideal of wanting to help people. In his experience, good health and healing involve elements of the mind, body, and spirit, and disease may exist in any of these areas. With this in mind, he believes patient care should be personalized and he tries to meet each person where they are. He has seen wonderful success and healing when patients gain better insight into their health and lifestyle choices. Better insight helps patients make wiser choices about their health. He emphasizes good health habits with a goal towards restoration and improved function whenever possible.
Dr. Merck's training and experience are in adult medicine with an affinity towards caring for the aging and Men’s Health.
