Philosophy of Care

Health is more than just the state of the body, it is the state of the whole person. It includes the physical, mental, emotional, and even spiritual state. I believe that a physician takes all these into consideration in the treatment of a patient. He should be a life coach, encouraging a patient to make the right health choices as well as providing good medical care. Health cannot be achieved by simply writing a prescription. People must make a conscious effort to make healthy choices in their lifestyle. A physician must try to get to know the patient on a personal basis to be able to facilitate these changes. Health care is a cooperative effort in which both parties work towards a common goal to improve one's health.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Guerrero graduated from the University of The Philippines Manila College of Medicine, University of The Philippines in 1991. He works in Rocklin, CA and specializes in Internal Medicine. Dr. Guerrero is affiliated with UC Davis Medical Center and Rideout Regional Medical Center.
