Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey partners with UC Davis Children's Hospital for local fundraising campaign
Circus performers visit UC Davis Pediatric Outpatient Clinic to unveil circus-themed mural, sponsored by Feld Entertainment, for new pediatric dialysis clinic
As part of an all-new partnership between UC Davis Children’s Hospital and Feld Entertainment, the world’s leading producer of live family entertainment, performers from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Presents Circus XTREME will visit UC Davis Pediatric Outpatient Clinic on Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 10-11 a.m., to unveil a specially-designed permanent circus-themed mural for the new pediatric dialysis room where pediatric patients will spend several hours being trained on home-based peritoneal dialysis.
Circus XTREME Ringmaster David Shipman, the world-famous Ringling Bros. Clown Alley plus other circus performers will be on hand for the mural unveiling and to entertain children and families visiting the outpatient clinic that morning.
UC Davis Children’s Hospital is partnering with Ringling Bros. Circus for a special fundraising ticket program, with $1 from every ticket purchased (using promo code DAVIS) for select performances at Sleep Train Arena will be donated to UC Davis Children's Hospital. Feld Entertainment will donate up to $5,000 total. Valid shows areThursday, Sept. 17, 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 18, 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 19, 7 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 20, 5 p.m.
The Ringling Bros. Circus mural was designed and painted by Sacramento artists Craig and Anna Nelson, Carl Nunnelly and Pam Marano.
