MIND Institute Open House reservations still open

Tours, talks and treats offered

(SACRAMENTO, Calif.)

The UC Davis MIND Institute open house will be held Saturday, May 6  from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and reservations are still available.

The open house will feature behind-the-scenes tours showcasing the MIND Institute’s resource center and research clinic, presentations from key faculty members and staff followed by opportunities for in-depth conversations with the speakers. Tour space is limited, so visitors should sign up for a tour time upon arrival.

There will be complimentary light snacks, coffee and bottled water, and fun activities for children.

The event and parking in the adjacent lot #25 are both free.

The MIND Institute is located at 2825 50th in Sacramento.

The UC Davis MIND Institute in Sacramento, Calif., was founded in 1998 as a unique interdisciplinary research center where families, community leaders, researchers, clinicians and volunteers work together toward a common goal: researching causes, treatments and eventual preventions and cures for neurodevelopmental disorders. The institute has major research efforts in autism, fragile X syndrome, chromosome 22q11.2 deletion syndrome, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and Down syndrome.
