Register for Duck Dash: Proceeds benefit UC Davis Child Life

(SACRAMENTO, Calif.)

2017 Duck Dash
The 2017 Duck Dash is Saturday, Aug. 12 at 5 p.m.

The fifth annual Duck Dash will take place Saturday, Aug. 12, at 5 p.m. at Raging Waters Sacramento at Cal Expo. Proceeds will benefit the Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Department at UC Davis Children’s Hospital.

The Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Department at UC Davis Children’s Hospital helps to minimize the anxiety of hospitalization, increase understanding and strengthen coping skills while helping children to continue their typical growth and development.

“We feel very fortunate to be included in this event,” said Diana Sundberg, Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy manager. “Funds raised by the Duck Dash will be used to purchase items for our place spaces to support children in having a fun and positive experience in the hospital, as well as items to enhance our art and music program.”
