Carter to discuss schizophrenia and bipolar disorder in webinar


On Tuesday, June 10 from 9 a.m. to noon Cameron Carter, professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences, will deliver a webinar sponsored by The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation on “Brain Networks in Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder: Targets for Novel Therapies.” The discussion will be moderated by foundation President and Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Borenstein.

Carter will address his research on the neural basis of healthy cognition and the pathophysiology of disturbances in higher cognition and emotion in patients with such disorders as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and autism, as well as the development of therapies to improve patients’ quality of life.
