Votes for UC Davis Children's Hospital could result in $50,000 to help local kids

(SACRAMENTO, Calif.)

UC Davis Health employees and the general public are invited to cast their votes to support UC Davis Children’s Hospital, the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, in the Credit Union for Kids' “Vote for Miracles” national campaign.

The campaign celebrates the 21st anniversary of the Credit Unions for Kids program, which raises much-needed funds for Children's Miracle Network Hospital member hospitals nationally. 

At the conclusion of the promotion, the top five Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals with the most votes will be awarded a total of $100,000, courtesy of CO-OP Financial Services. The hospital with the most votes will win $50,000. Second through fifth place will receive $20,000, $15,000, $10,000 and $ 5,000, respectively. 

The public can vote once each day through Dec. 19 at www.VoteForMiracles.org.

UC Davis Children's Hospital is the Sacramento region's only nationally ranked, comprehensive hospital providing care for infants, children, adolescents and young adults with primary, subspecialty and critical care. It includes the Central Valley's only pediatric emergency department and Level I pediatric trauma center, which offers the highest level of care for its critically ill patients, as well as the West Coast's only Level I children's surgery center. The 129-bed children's hospital includes the state-of-the-art 49-bed neonatal and 24-bed pediatric intensive care and pediatric cardiac intensive care units.
