The UC Davis Department of Pharmacy is providing an opportunity to safely dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs on National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Sacramento campus of UC Davis.
The drop-off location will be in front of the Cypress Building, 2221 Stockton Blvd.
National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means for disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
The pharmacy department is sponsoring the event in collaboration with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency and the UC Davis Police Department.
