Pavilions Shopping Center in Sacramento will host its second Fashion's Night Out, an evening of shopping and a fashion show featuring clothing from Pavilions' specialty stores, on Sept. 6.
The fashion show will begin at 6 p.m. The runway party begins at 8 p.m. and will feature local celebrity models. All proceeds from ticket sales for the runway party will benefit UC Davis Children's Hospital, Sacramento's local Children's Miracle Network Hospital.
"We are excited and gratified that Pavilions has again selected UC Davis Children's Hospital as the beneficiary for this wonderful event," said Ann Madden Rice, chief executive officer of UC Davis Medical Center and the children's hospital. "Pavilions and UC Davis Childnren's Hospital are community partners who share a commitment to healthy babies, children and adolescents," she said.
Pavilions is located at 563 Pavilions Lane, near the intersection of Fair Oaks Boulevard and Howe Avenue. Fashion's Night Out will include retailers' in-store events and promotions, shopping incentives, gourmet food trucks and entertainment by a local hip-hop dance youth group.
"We are thrilled to bring this remarkable event back to Sacramento and invite all the fashionistas to come play at Pavilions," said Audrey Yokoto, director of marketing for Pavilions. "Last year's event was an overwhelming success and generated even more enthusiasm for this year's FNO at Pavilions."
With over 1,500 guests in attendance, last year's event raised $15,000 for the children's hospital. Runway seats are available for $150. The price includes a complimentary $100 Pavilions gift certificate. Tickets may be purchased online at http://www.helpmakemiracles.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donordrive.event&eventID=1228
Pavilions is home to specialty stores and restaurants, including Chico's, Coldwater Creek, Talbots and Williams-Sonoma.
Led in the United States by American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company and the City of New York, the event is one of hundreds taking place across the country as part of a global initiative begun in 2009 to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence and boost the industry's economy.
