Media advisory: UC Davis women's basketball star visits UC Davis pediatric diabetes summer camp June 27

(SACRAMENTO, Calif.)

UC Davis pediatric diabetes patients will get a visit from UC Davis Women’s Basketball player Rachel Nagel at this week’s UC Davis Diabetes Summer Camp. Kids will get a pep talk from Nagel and will try some basketball drills that she has designed for them.

The UC Davis Diabetes Summer Camp provides friendship, fun and diabetes education for patients battling Type 1 Diabetes.

When: Tuesday, June 27 at 10:30 a.m.
