Health system's advertising campaign wins in national Healthcare Advertising Awards


UC Davis Health System's advertising campaign is among the winners in theĀ 29th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report.

The Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest, largest and most prestigious advertising awards competition, and received more than 4,000 entries last year from every state in the country and multiple foreign countries.

The health system's advertising campaign received awards in these categories:

  • Best of Show and Gold Awards -- Total Advertising Campaign with TV
  • Gold Award -- Newspaper Campaign
  • Merit Award -- Direct Mail

A national panel of judges reviewed entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact. Judges for the Healthcare Advertising Awards consisted of a national panel of health-care marketers, advertising creative directors, advertising professionals, health-care consultants, marketing professors and the editorial board of Healthcare Marketing Report.

The judges recognized 16 entrants with the Best of Show designation, for their overall excellence and breakthrough advertising production. Gold awards were bestowed to 253 entries and silver awards went to 245 entries. Additionally, bronze awards were given to 231 entries.
