Clinical/Research Interests
Anthony R. Stone is an expert in male and female urinary incontinence, neurourology and lower urinary tract reconstruction, including artificial urinary sphincters, urethral strictures and urinary fistulas.
Dr. Stone is vice-chair of the UC Davis Health System Department of Urology and chief of urology for Shriners Hospital for Children, Sacramento. Stone has compiled significant data on artificial urinary sphincters. He also treats children with incontinence due to birth defects such as spina bifida. Stone has taught at seminars and institutions worldwide and has written extensively on urinary reconstructive surgery, continent urinary diversion,and neurourology.
