John T. Hosoume

Philosophy of Care

My interest in general internal medicine and in diagnosing and treating medical problems led me to choose this specialty. I like the opportunity to cultivate long-term relationship with my patients. I work closely with patients and their families to develop a complete plan of care that encompasses both medical and social aspects. My emphasis is on preventive medicine, and I consider eating a proper diet, exercising regularly and enjoying life most important to good health. The real benefits to my patients at UC Davis Medical Group include access to the vast medical, social and cultural resources of UC Davis, as well as up-to-date, knowledgeable specialists from all medical fields.
