Jeffrey A. Applebaum, M.D.

Philosophy of Care
As primary care physicians today, the family practitioner plays an essential role in the health and well-being of individuals and families across our country. More than ever, it is vital to have a physician who knows and understands the family: both the medical issues as well as social and emotional dynamics. I wish to really get to know people as individuals, over time, and as life evolves. This entails sharing in happiness and joy, and working through sadness and turmoil. The long-term relationship that follows, the caring and involvement -- this is what family medicine is all about.
