Aida Field-Ridley, M.D.

Clinical/Research Interests
As an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Clinical "x" series, Dr. Field-Ridley is commited to contributing in both research and clinical areas. She is currently involved in both bedside and didactic resident education. In addition, she organizes and contributes to her division journal club.
Dr. Field-Ridley has a long-standing interest in the neuroendocrine response to critical illness and the catabolic state. she is working with Dr. Tina Palmieri, Assistant Chief of Burns at Shriners Children's Hospital and Associate Professor of Surgery at UC Davis, investigating hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis in critically ill children with burn injury.
