June X. Zou, Ph.D.

Clinical/Research Interests
My research programs are focused on the role of nuclear onco-proteins in control of cancer cell proliferation, adhesion and invasion, and the identification of novel nuclear epigenetic regulators in control of hormone-dependent prostate tumor growth and androgen independence. To promote the “bench-to-bedside” transition of my research findings, I have also been engaged in translational research with the goal to identify lead small molecules for potential use as therapeutics and diagnostic tools.
