Clinical/Research Interests

Dr. Chan has extensive experience in general pulmonary and critical care medicine. His research and clinical interests are in interstitial lung disease (ILD), especially idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and he directs the UC Davis ILD clinic. Dr. Chan is also involved in interventional bronchology, especially Nd:YAG laser therapy, stents, photodynamic therapy, argon plasma coagulation and cryotherapy. He is a journal reviewer for CHEST.
