Richard H. White, M.D.

Clinical/Research Interests

Richard H. White's two major areas of interest are anticoagulation therapy and rheumatology. He directs the UC Davis Anticoagulation Service and treats patients with deep-vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism and other conditions requiring oral anticoagulant therapy. He also is interested in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and other arthritic conditions. His study of the pharmacology of anticoagulants and epidemiology of venous thrombosis has generated more than a dozen research papers.
