Deborah Bachtold Adey

Philosophy of Care

Dr. Adey has two guiding philospophies in caring for patients: First and foremost "what can I not afford to miss". For her this involves pursuing issues that could cause the patient harm in the near or relatively near future. Her second philosophy is that this is a "team approach". She tries to engage the patient in the decisions and provide information that helps guide the patient's understanding of the issues at hand.
