Thomas J. Semrad welcomes LGBT patients.
Dr. Semrad is a board certified medical oncologist who specializes in the management of colorectal, pancreatic, hepatobiliary, gastroesophageal, neuroendocrine and thyroid malignancies. He is the chair of the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center Gastrointestinal Malignancy clinical innovation group and co-leader of the phase I program. As the principal investigator of multiple clinical trials across the spectrum of drug development, he is actively involved in the search for better cancer treatments from discovery to validation. Dr. Semrad’s research focuses on predictive biomarker development in gastrointestinal and endocrine malignancies, with special focus on drug and biomarker co-development.
