Clinical/Research Interests

My research primarily focuses on understanding the complications of chronic kidney disease, with a research emphasis on infection, inflammation, and cardiovascular disease in adults with chronic kidney disease.

The goals of my research are to enhance our understanding of risk factors for and outcomes of complications related to chronic kidney disease so that effective approaches to prevention and intervention can be developed.
