Philosophy of Care

Providing medical care to children is very rewarding. Children are responsive patients -- vital, truthful and joyful. Every day I practice medicine is interesting; each child is unique. The foundation for pediatrics is preventive medicine. Parents who understand the importance of immunizations and regular checkups are giving their children a healthy start in life. I believe an important part of my job is educating parents about growth, development and childhood illness. This helps them assess their children during times of illness. My association with UC Davis offers my patients access to a quality pediatric tertiary care network. In case of serious or complicated illness, they can receive care at UC Davis Medical Center, one of the nation's leading academic medical centers.
