Philosophy of Care

Orthopedic care of children requires extensive knowledge and experience, and a sensitive interaction between the child and medical team, that every family of a patient expects and deserves. However, I believe that many factors beyond simple medical issues affect the outcomes of children with orthopedic conditions, injuries, and deformities. Children exist within environments such as family, school, and friends. When these are taken into account, and parents can become part of the "team" rather than just worried adults, the child always benefits.
