Peter O'Malley, M.D.

Philosophy of Care
I chose pediatrics because I enjoy taking care of children and families. From birth through adolescence, young people possess an energy and optimism that can bring a smile to everyone's face. I am honored to be able to be a part of that. My philosophy of care is to treat every patient as a unique individual and with respect. In doing so, I give each patient my whole and undivided attention. I am detailed and thorough in their medical care. To me, often little things--such as returning phone calls promptly, taking time to answer questions or explain lab results, and treating patients with kindness--matter
most to families. I believe in staying current in the latest in pediatric medicine and technology in order to provide the best care for my patients. I believe that a loving family, development of wise eating and exercise habits, and a knowledge and respect of one's own body are keys to lifelong good health.
