Philosophy of Care
I have lived in Fair Oaks off and on for most of my life. I completed my training at UC Davis Medical
Center and now enjoy participating in a practice setting that's not only nurturing and beneficial for my
patients, but also challenging and rewarding for me. I chose pediatrics as my specialty in my first year
of medical school. Children are inquisitive, joyful and trusting--all the traits that most of us outgrow to
some extent. Although children's illnesses and psychosocial problems may be quite difficult and
complex at times, I became a pediatrician to provide the maximum positive influence on their lives as
they grow to become healthy, well-adjusted young adults. I perform primary care for infants, children
and adolescents, with active parental involvement. I would like my patients and their parents to see me
as more than a doctor who treats earaches and colds. I also want to become my patients' confidante as
well as the entire family's trusted friend and guide.
