Philosophy of Care
As a pediatrician, I believe not only in providing quality care for sick children now, but also preventing future problems. Good health can be accomplished by working in partnership with the parents and the child. I emphasize the importance of regular well-child checkups during which we can talk about development, nutrition, safety, immunizations and other preventive issues. Being a parent myself has made me a better pediatrician. My goal is to give my patients the care and attention that I would give my own children. My association with UC Davis offers my patients access to a quality pediatric tertiary care network; and for serious or complicated illnesses, hospitalization at UC Davis Medical Center, one of the nation's leading academic medical centers.
