Philosophy of Care

Dr. Mayadev believes in providing each patient with the most comprehensive cancer care in a supportive and compassionate environment. Her multidisciplinary approach to treatment focuses on the patient in a team oriented setting.


Clinical Interests

Dr. Mayadev has a clinical focus on the treatment of breast and gynecologic malignancies. She specializes in various radiotherapy techniques including intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image guided radiation therapy (IGRT), and high dose rate brachytherapy and is specifically interested in using technical advances to improve the clinical delivery and side effect profile of radiation therapy. Mayadev's research interests focus on the investigation of novel imaging techniques to improve the delivery of radiation treatments. In addition, she has a keen interest in studying the technical delivery of high dose rate brachytherapy to an effort to spare normal tissue toxicity.
