Consumers again rate UC Davis Medical Center as the region's best

November 7, 2016

UC Davis Medical Center has been selected for the 17th time as a Consumer Choice Award winner by National Research Corporation (NRC).

“The Consumer Choice Award is one of our most valued recognitions, because it is based on the trust and loyalty of those who have many choices for their health care,” said Ann Madden Rice, CEO of the medical center. “It is a strong validation of our leadership in excellent, patient-centered care.”

The award is based on a survey of health care decision makers in 300,000 U.S. households that was conducted between October 2015 and September 2016. Respondents rated their local hospitals on multiple quality and image ratings.
