Postdoctoral research opportunities
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences has opportunities for postdoctoral fellows beginning in July of each year. We are seeking applicants who have an M.D. or Ph.D. degree and are interested in pursuing research in one of the following areas:
- Cognitive and brain imaging studies of neurodevelopmental disorders
- Fragile X Syndrome
- Interdisciplinary training for autism researchers
- Neurobiology of schizophrenia
The primary goal of the fellowship program is to facilitate the development of independent researchers through intensive hands-on research experience. The Department maintains active collaborations with the UC Davis Center for Neuroscience, the UC Davis Imaging Research Center, the UC Davis M.I.N.D. Institute, and the UC Davis Center for Mind and Brain.
