Dr. Park has clinical and research interests in severe psychopathology, attachment relationships, psychological assessment, and training/supervision issues. Her work has primarily focused on the effective treatment of individuals with personality disorders using an interpersonal and psychodynamic approach. She is the attending psychologist at the Sacramento County Mental Health Treatment Center, where she oversees psychological services for psychiatric inpatients. This includes providing psychological assessments, behavioral evaluations, consultations, and supervision of psychology postdoctoral fellows and interns. She also leads an ongoing interpersonal psychotherapy group for inpatients. In addition, Dr. Park provides psychotherapy training for psychiatry residents in the Department’s outpatient clinic where she also sees patients for individual and couples therapy.
