Dr. Leamon serves as medical director for the six different VA Addiction Recovery and Treatment Services programs in the Northern California Health Care System.  He also serves as director of the program at the Sacramento VA.  He is active in medical student and resident education with research interests in methamphetamine addiction and medical education.  He is also medical director for the Crisis Residential Program for Sacramento County, an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization for County patients with severe and persistent mental illness.  Dr. Leamon only sees patients at the Sacramento VA and at the Crisis Residential Program.
